How to Kill a Hurricane - Quickly!

online Think Tanks often discuss issues and solve problems that no one else looks at, because they think around the box, that is to say not necessarily in it or out of it, but all of the above. Thus when the 2005 hurricane Season got out of control we started discussing the issue of how to kill a hurricane.

So, what can we tell you about hurricane Annihilation Theory or "HAT" well, you most likely will not find this information on the web, as it is one of my original concepts. The online Think Tank Bulletin board was hacked and it was something I posted under "Ways to Kill hurricanes" but it is no longer on the internet. Here is the basic premise;

Water droplets on the wavelets or salt spray evaporate and block the trade winds, this allows the hurricane to grow, as rain falls the barrier increases and the Hurricane's heat engine expands. Solution: modify the droplet size and the trade winds will prevent the hurricane from forming.

A.) The droplet size and blocking of the trade winds, which allow the formation of hurricanes is known; there are research papers on that.

B.) Harmonic resonance and vibrational sound waves are known to affect ionically the water molecules, there are research papers on that. Japanese have done research and there is other research on water molecules that confirm it. Lots of information on ice, water and frequency out there, very interesting in fact.

C.) The floating of the barge I envision would be similar to the use of floatation devices to raises sunken ships for recovery and submarines that are underwater for rescue. There are pictures of that on the internet.

Since this is on of my original concepts, you will not find this anywhere, except in my brain and some sketch notes I have. I have not written it up, I have a 1,000 concepts that I need to write up someday, it is a lot about time really. I think I might have explained the basic premise in an online article once, but not much more detail than I have explained to you. Humans are not interested in solutions, rather they pretend to be in order to funnel money to political friends, you know what I am saying? Again, not judging.

If you take this idea to a Meteorologist, Physics Professor, ELF scientist, underwater recovery entrepreneur looking for long lost treasure, one could easily be built. Mostly it is a matter of cost and need, but if you are protecting a whole city or national Shoreline it is relevant. Often, unfortunately, you have to realize that humans are much about "not invented here" and "the status quo" and sometimes to their non-disruptive benefit and other times to their folly. A little philosophy assists in helping one not worry about the further reaching consequences? Smile, it is simply the way things are currently.

Finding Your Natural Weight - The Thin Side of the Story

Finding our natural weight isn't always easy. We know a fair amount about the effects of obesity but we don't have as much information about those who struggle to put on weight. Obesity increases our risk of some cancers, diabetes, depression and other health problems. The overweight generally live shorter lives. It does seem that constitutionally thin people are destined for better health and longer lives, as long as their thinness is not extreme.

Some people are thin due to non-genetic factors, such as, having eating disorders or being ill. However, it is estimated that about 70% of being thin is genetic. The search is on for the specific information related to the genetics involved. It may be that a constitutionally thin person has a metabolic system that turns food into energy very efficiently or it may be that they get full faster, eat less frequently, or don't crave fattening foods. Recent research showed the thin are often active, not just exercisers, but people who move a lot or 'can't sit still'.

A thin person is less likely to have eating disorders and thin women have a higher self-esteem than their overweight counterparts.

thin and unhealthy

Unfortunately many who are thin consume a diet that is high in fat and sugar. While constitutionally thin people can eat a lot of junk food without adding weight, the long-term consequences can be serious. Foods that are high in fats and sugars bestow few health benefits and use the body's store of nutrients to metabolise them. This robs the body of nutrients that are needed for other metabolic processes. Added to this, a diet with too few fruits and vegetables, because the calories are coming from low nutrient dense foods, fails to supply the body with the required vitamins and minerals. With the malnourishment of a poor diet also comes a decreased immune system function and the associated problems of repeated infection, you can certainly be thin and unhealthy. As well as these factors a poor diet will also lead to an increase in the number of toxins that are accumulated in the body. These toxins are a great source of ill health and they need to be removed.

Are you too thin?

Body Mass Index (BMI) is used to indicate whether a person is overweight, underweight or a healthy weight. The score is valid for both men and women but it may overestimate body fat in people such as athletes who have a muscular build and underestimate body fat in older people and others who have lost muscle mass.

The Body Mass Index is divided into the following categories:

underweight - less than 18.5

normal weight -18.5 to 24.9

overweight - 25 to 29.9

obese - greater than 30

Someone with a BMI under 18.5 may be malnourished.

What is a healthy diet for the constitutionally thin?

Those who are thin are able to concentrate on the consumption of high quality nutrition rather than the consumption of calories. A healthy diet for everyone consists of the following:

  • A minimum or no sugar and refined carbohydrates. This includes sucrose, table sugar, white, brown or other sugars, glucose, honey, and sorbitol. Many foods, such as, sweets, cakes, chocolates, biscuits, pudding, jam, ice cream, soft drinks and other sweet tasting food contain large amounts of sucrose or other refined carbohydrates. White, refined flour has a lower content of vitamins and minerals than unrefined flour and should only be consumed in small quantities.
  • Animal and vegetable fats should be taken in moderation. On average most people in Western societies are advised to reduce their fat consumption to about 75% of their current levels. In particular, avoid poor quality foods that have a high fat content, such as fried foods, pies, sausages, preserved and tinned meats. Dairy foods are also high in fat content and low-fat forms should be preferred, or they should be taken sparingly (although this is not a concern for the constitutionally thin). There are serious questions about eating any dairy foods at all and people with lactose intolerance should avoid all dairy. This is probably true for everyone else too, notwithstanding its promotion by dieticians and the dairy industry.
  • Ensure a good daily intake of vegetables, especially the leafy green ones. Such foods are rich in vitamins and minerals.
  • Ensure a good intake of fiber. This may help with a number of minor conditions, such as, constipation, as well as having long term health benefits. high fiber foods include: beans, pulses, fruits and vegetables, as well as the cereals.
  • Eat a varied and interesting diet. eating a limited range of foods may make it difficult to obtain adequate amounts of all the nutrients required. eating should be a pleasure and a social event - so try to take pleasure and interest in the food you are eating. A good variety also helps reduce the development of food allergies and sensitivities.
  • Alcohol should be avoided. The evidence is rising that even in small amounts there are substantial adverse effects from drinking alcohol. Women who are pregnant or wanting to become pregnant should certainly not drink alcohol. Also men and women with liver disease should avoid alcohol.
  • Limit your intake of salt in cooking and in foods. Excessive salt intake can cause high blood pressure for some people.
  • Eat fresh food and avoid foods containing additives whenever possible. Additives, such as coloring agents, preservatives, emulsifiers, texturizers and flavorings may have short term and long term adverse effects. Fresh foods, free of these, are best consumed in their place.
  • Ensure a good, but not excessive intake of protein rich foods. Lean meat, fish, eggs, chicken (without the skin), nuts, seeds, peas, beans, lentils, sprouted beans and whole grains are rich in protein and vitamins and minerals.

If you haven't been eating the diet that is outlined above then your body will have built up a heavy toxic load. These toxins will be circulating, via the blood, to all areas of the body and in the process doing damage. They need to be remove (this is the case if you are thin, the ideal weight or overweight). Find out how to safely remove toxins from your body at safecoloncleansing.com and experience the benefits of lasting vitality and health.

If you are someone who has not been consuming a healthy diet or who finds it difficult, for whatever reason, to eat as suggested above you will benefit from the addition essential vitamin and mineral supplements. If you have the symptoms of specific vitamin and mineral deficiencies then the additional supplementation of these may be of significant assistance.

Bad Weather Can Ruin Our Golf Game

Golf course management is very significant to a player, whether they are a seasoned pro or a novice. Knowing the distance to the hole and what kind of club to use can make or break your round of golf. But weather conditions are another real significant consideration when you are out on the golf course playing your favorite sport.

How do weather conditions effect your game? Wet, dry, windy, calm, all very important considerations when choosing how to manage a golf course. A huge consideration in picking the right golf club is the wind, the side the wind is blowing from will have a huge affect on the direction a round of golf takes better than any other weather related factor. when facing a strong wind a player has to determine the direction and strength in an attempt to pick the correct club to select and right approach shot.

Against a stiff wind a golfer might decide to either hit a club much harder or they might decide to go with a longer club, swinging the club harder can produce very erratic outcomes. When a golfer decides to swing a club stronger than normal many more times than not the desired ball flight is not realized because of the magnified effort in swinging the club faster, this address produces to many more opportunities for the swing to go wrong.

A swing that goes bad is a swing that has deviated from the proper swing plane and cannot meet the golf ball right producing miss hits, pushes, and hooks. An good way to avoid this problem when facing into a strong wind to to just pick a higher club, instead of a six iron use a five iron. The benefit of using a lower club means that the player can use their usual swing and still accomplish the same results.

The same is true for golf shots when the wind is at their back, in this circumstance the wind will actually assist a player gain increased yardage than is normal and so choosing a higher club may get the results wanted. If a player normally swings a seven iron to accomplish a distance of 150 yards, with a hard wind behind you, you might want to try using an eight iron to get the same ball distance.

Also considerations should be taken when faced with strong side winds, aiming adjustments have to be taken into consideration as the wind can push your shot from one side to the other if it is blowing hard enough. Then things like sand traps and water hazards can come into play with a hard wind. A sand trap that normally wouldn't cause a golfer interference could move into play if the wind is moving the ball in the sand traps direction.

Also a big component in managing a golf course is moisture, or how dry or wet the greens and fairways are. Get to the golf course early while the sprinklers are still going, or arrive after it has rained and you will find hard to hit fairways and very slow greens. For the mushy fairway many golfers have a difficult time hitting the golf ball while it is on a soaked fairway, hitting a golf ball with a solid stroke and lifting it up in the air gets much more difficult because of the additional resistance of the soaked grass.

At the far end of the fairway we find the putting green, a putting green that has been soaked is also very slow. And so putting is more difficult because of the extra resistance of the green to the ball, so a golfer has to hit the ball with much more force than is typical to propel the ball along and keep it running to the hole. As the sun rises and hardens the fairway and putting greens a players ball striking will need to be changed to adjust to the new surface conditions fast.

Dry fairways will make the golf ball to bounce and roll much farther off the tee and will assist the golfer to hit the ball much better on their second shot increasing the length of the shot. The significant change comes on the putting green, a soggy green where the ball needed a strong, hard hit will now be driven along quickly with just a light stroke making the golfer to adjust their stroke to the changing conditions.

So wet or dry, windy or calm, golf course management is significant and bad golf course management can accumulate needless strokes to a golfers round. Cautious regard for the weather and course conditions is important for your round. Slow down and play wise, and you will have a great round despite which way the wind is blowing.

Where Are All the Used Titleist Pro V1 Golf Balls and Are They Worth It?

Golfers can not get enough used Pro V1 Golf Balls. As soon as we receive a shipment of used Pro V1s, they are gone within a couple of days. I will be the first to admit, I am not a golf ball expert. However, I am curious and motivated to find out why we cant keep a large supply of used Pro V1 golf balls and whether or not there are golf balls that are just as good. According to titleist, Pro V1s (MSRP $58) have:

New, staggered wave parting line - longer distance from enhanced ball flight

New, higher coverage 392 dimple design - penetrating trajectory for long, consistent distance

New, A.I.M. (Alignment Integrated Marking) sidestamp - integrated alignment guide for improved putting alignment

Longer driver distance

Soft compression for outstanding feel

Drop-And-Stop control

The most durable of all titleist Tour-played golf balls

So, what else have I found out about used Pro V1s? 1. Why are used Pro V1s in such demand at $24 to $29 a dozen? The answer to this one was easy if I thought about it. titleist Pro V1s are the #1 ball used on the PGA Tour. The Pro V1 is the most preferred ball by lower handicap players. It makes complete sense that these balls are found less often in water or lost in the woods. The PGA Tour player and other experienced golfers are less likely to loose the ball. 2.

Are Pro V1s really THAT good?I am sure that this question will stir up a huge debate, but I thought it was important to cover. bottom line, yes they are a fantastic high performance ball. It was very hard to find anyone that did not feel the Pro V1 was the best ball on the market. If you are looking for a ball with great feel and accuracy, the Pro V1 is it. However, I do need to add, there are other soft balls that are very good. I can not really say other balls are actually better because it is really based on personal preference. Some simply feel more confident using a titleist ball. This is where the titleist brand name comes into play. titleist is known to make some of the best golf balls. Golfers have been using titleist for years. Brand loyalty and comfort using the same brand goes a long way. 3. If I can not find any used Titleist Pro V1s, what should I use? When this question was asked, most would add, but they are not as good as the Pro V1s. Keeping that in mind, feel free to try these performance balls around $10 to $20 used ($20 to $40 new):

The Power And Utility Of The 60-Gigahertz Wireless Band

Until very recently, wireless systems have largely operated within the standard 2.4 and 5.8 GHZ frequency bands. With this ubiquity has come tremendous quality, speed and interference issues typically associated with overcrowding. Today, home networks, wireless cafes, office buildings and the like are suffering from pirated signals, spotty reception and challenges with signal interference. Although still relatively new in its adoption, the emergence of the 60 GHZ wireless band is gaining prominence across much of the United States and Canada. This license-free frequency is open for use by anyone with wireless receivers capable of transmitting the high-end frequency.

Furthermore, the 60 GHZ frequency band has many unique characteristics that afford a multitude of benefits over traditional lower-end frequencies in use today. These include:

A.SECURITY: It is virtually impossible to pirate or highjack a signal because the beam itself is so extremely narrow (an average of one degree in width). In order to do so, someone would have to be directly in line with the one-degree beam and would also need to know the mac address of the receiving radio.

B.QUALITY: The 60 GHZ signal range has a very high oxygen absorption rate, which keeps the signal closely contained and free from external interference. This also enables collocation of signals in close proximity to one another.

C.SPEED: This frequency offers very high data throughput levels at a fiber-performance rate up to 2.25 GPS using a point-to-point link, covering almost five miles. This makes it a viable solution for businesses with large bandwidth needs such as engineering companies, design firms, advertising agencies, etc.

D.CONTROL: system management using SNMP allows an administrator to review real time statistics of the wireless radio and be quickly notified if a network problem arises.

E.RELIABILITY: The FCC allocated 7 GHZ of spectrum at the 60 GHZ range which is the most ever allotted and far greater in bandwidth than the 0.5 GHZ of spectrum afforded between 2-6 GHZ (used largely today for wifi, etc.)

F.LICENSE-FREE: Since the 60 GHZ range is unlicensed, companies dont have to purchase an expensive federal license to be able to deploy wireless links.

While there arent any home-based or wifi-compliant products available in the 60 GHZ band for the consumer market today, there are many equipment providers offering 60 GHZ wireless equipment for the business sector. Like wifi and 802.11, the 60 GHZ band is already becoming the next big thing in wireless networking.

If you are considering a 60 GHZ wireless solution, be sure to select an equipment provider and system installer that has a history of providing quality products and services at an affordable price.
